Bruce Williams, CGCS, a prominent figure among golf course superintendents at the regional and national level, has left Los Angeles Country Club in Los Angeles, Calif., after more than 30 years there to join ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance as the company’s director of business development, West, effective Sept. 1.
Williams, the director of golf courses and grounds at Los Angeles Country Club since 1977, is a former president of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, and has been a key executive on numerous regional and local golf course superintendent associations.
