EZLinks Golf has sold its handicapping and tournament management software business unit for USGA certified regional and state golf associations to GolfNet.
The handicapping and tournament unit was a relatively small part of Chicago-based EZLinks. It’s a bigger deal, however, for GolfNet, since it adds seven additional state or regional golf associations to its client base. It already handles handicapping and tournament management software for eight golf associations in the U.S. and two in Canada. The company is headquartered in Pinehurst, N.C.
EZLinks officials said the deal will allow the company to focus its attention on its core business of providing software services and tools for individual golf course operators.
