The Payne Stewart Golf Course in Branson, Mo., held its official opening over the weekend, featuring a clubhouse open house, barbecue, tours of the facility’s tennis, swimming and fitness amenities as well as the Estates at Branson Hills for prospective homebuyers.
The course, a design collaboration between architect Chuck Smith and former PGA Tour player and current television commentator Bobby Clampett, is operated by Hilton Golf.
Routed through mature trees, with numerous elevation changes and several lakes that come into play, Clampett said the course is “a work of art and deserving of the Payne Stewart name.”
