Troon has been chosen to manage Hunting Hills Country Club in Roanoke, Virginia. Troon will manage club operations, agronomy, food & beverage and membership sales and marketing.
Hunting Hills is a private member-owned club located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains that features an 18-hole championship golf course with amenities such as indoor and outdoor tennis courts, pickleball courts, a swimming pool and splash pad, a fitness center and a kids’ club. Additionally, the club hosts an active junior golf program, swim teams, themed summer camps and junior sports camps.
“Hunting Hills is on an amazing trajectory over the past five years, and we have been able to invest in several programs and capital projects that have really improved the member experience,” said Stanley Hays, president of Hunting Hills Country Club.
The 6,058-yard, par-70 golf course was built in 1971 from a Raymond F. Loving, Jr. design and challenges golfers of all skill levels. The country club offers multiple dining options to its members with a clubhouse restaurant, The Hills lounge and a poolside bar and grill. There is also event space that accommodates up to 150 guests as well as a patio that holds more than 300 additional guests.
“We are excited to partner with Hunting Hills Country Club,” said Troon Vice President of Operations Justin Smith. “Hunting Hills has a storied history, and we are honored to be part of the next chapter. We can’t wait to welcome all current and future members to the club.”
