Entries are now being accepted for Golf Inc.’s annual Development of the Year competition. The yearly award recognizes the daily fee/resort courses and private clubs with the best new traditional and non-traditional golf courses (including short courses!) opened during the past year around the globe.
This year’s categories are: New Private, New Daily Fee/Resort, New Golf Entertainment (simulators, top tracer bays, driving range, putting green, practice facilities)
Judging is blind and done by a panel of industry professionals. They judge based on four criteria: vision, course aesthetics, environmental and economic sustainability, and course routing and land usage.
Who is eligible: New traditional and non-traditional golf courses and Golf Entertainment facilities that completed construction after January 1, 2023, and were not previously entered.
Fee: There is no entry fee.
Recognition: Judges will select a first, second, third place and honorable mentions. Winners will be featured in the July/August 2024 issue of Golf Inc. magazine.
