Great design tells a story. On a golf property, that story begins long before the first tee shot and lingers well after the final putt. It’s felt in the flow of a clubhouse, the character of a short course, the comfort of a dining terrace and the countless small choices that make players and guests feel connected to a place.
Each year, Golf Inc. honors the teams and visionaries who turn those stories into reality. From reimagined clubhouses and inventive renovations to memorable dining spaces and full-scale resort transformations, our design competitions highlight the industry’s best work in function, form and creativity.
The projects featured here represent past winners of our Clubhouse of the Year, Golden Fork and Amenity of the Year competitions. Each reflects a distinctive approach — some emphasizing tradition and craftsmanship, others embracing bold architecture or innovative use of materials. Together, they reveal how thoughtful design enhances not just aesthetics, but the entire experience of membership, hospitality and play.
Across private, public and resort properties, these projects capture golf’s evolving identity. They blend community with comfort, sustainability with sophistication and storytelling with structure.
This curated photo collection celebrates the architects and places setting new standards in golf design. Whether through a dramatic view, a subtle lighting choice or a clever nod to local heritage, each image showcases the imagination and detail driving today’s most inspiring golf environments.
