Troon continues to have a busy year, having added multiple new properties to its management portfolio in the first few months of 2024 alone. Five properties have come under Troon’s purview since the beginning of February, including Sierra View Country Club in Roseville, California; Cobbs Creek Golf Campus in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; University Club of Kentucky in Lexington; the New York Beach Club in Atlantic Beach, New York; and the Links at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland.
Sierra View Country Club’s 18-hole par-72 golf course, which was designed by Jack Fleming and opened in 1953, measures 6,481 yards. It hosts the Sierra View Women Golfers organization, which is the largest and most active women’s golf group in Northern California, as well as the Senior Men’s Club for members age 55+, which provides events such as golf clinics, member-member events, a Senior Invitational tournament and more. The club also has a large racquet sports program with six lit tennis courts, a 17,000-square-foot clubhouse with a golf shop, restaurant and indoor event space for up to 150 guests.
Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon, will manage golf and club operations, food & beverage, golf course agronomy, and membership marketing under direction of the club’s Board.

Cobbs Creek Golf Campus is currently under development and is scheduled to be completed in phases over the next three years. Upon completion it will serve as a hub for education and golf opportunities for the Philadelphia community.
The Cobbs Creek Foundation entered a long-term lease agreement with the City of Philadelphia in 2022 to restore the Cobbs Creek Golf Course and create a new education and community center on the site of the historic course. As part of the redevelopment, the Foundation is restoring three miles of Cobbs Creek, Indian Creek, and adjacent tributaries.
Golf architects Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, both of whom have strong ties to the community, are leading the restoration of the 18-hole Olde Course and building a new championship nine-hole course. The restored Olde Course is scheduled to open in the summer of 2026 in conjunction with the golf clubhouse, while the new 9-hole course will open in 2027.
The Foundation also has a partnership with Tiger Woods’ TGR Foundation to build a 30,000-square-foot facility to act as a learning lab that will provide free year-round Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) education to the city’s 1-12 students. Additionally, the club is building a modern golf entertainment venue that features temperature-controlled double-decker practice bays using Toptracer technology, food and beverage service and social gathering spaces. The venue will open in 2025 and the driving range facility will host a golf retail pro shop, an indoor/outdoor bar, restaurant, and community event space, as well as a Heritage Center where guests can learn about the history of Cobbs Creek.

The University Club of Kentucky opened in 1992 and is the official home of the school’s men’s and women’s golf teams. The Big Blue Course, designed by Arthur Hills Golf, is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout that covers 7,013 yards. The club also houses the 6,680-yard, par-71 Wildcat Course; a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse filled with University of Kentucky memorabilia and private meeting rooms, a golf shop and a bar & grille with golf course views. Troon’s Indigo Sports subsidiary will oversee golf operations, agronomy, food and beverage, retail and sales and marketing.

The New York Beach Club is located on eight acres of private white sand beach on Long Island’s south shore. It features family-friendly amenities such oceanfront cabanas, pool and sand cabanas, shower lockers, a heated swimming pool, a kiddie pool and splash park and a full restaurant and a tiki bar. Members also enjoy valet parking, VIP cabana service, chairs and umbrellas, exercise classes including yoga on the beach and a massage therapist. Troon Privé will manage club operations, food & beverage and membership marketing.

The Links at Perry Cabin is located along the eastern shore of Maryland and is notable for being the last course completed by the legendary Pete and Alice Dye with son P.B. Dye. It opened in 2018 and is considered one of the top courses in Maryland. The course carries multiple signature touches from Dye, such as the final three-hole stretch named “Goodnight Kiss,” which features a short risk-reward par-four hole 16, a replica of Dye’s hole 17 island green from TPC Sawgrass, and a tee shot over a lake to begin hole 18. The par-72 championship golf course measures 7,023 yards.
The property also hosts The Inn at Perry Cabin, which provides a number of upscale amenities such as the Spa at Perry Cabin, a fleet of five sailboats, a 55-foot Hinckley Yacht, and a historic 63-foot Skipjack called the Stanley Norman. It also features a zero-edge swimming pool, manicured gardens and complimentary bicycles, kayaks and paddleboards to explore the town of St. Michaels.
Troon Privé will manage golf operations, agronomy, sales and marketing and on-course food & beverage.
Troon currently provides management services at more than 875 locations, both across the U.S. as well as internationally.
