Troon has been selected to manage golf courses in Hawaii and Utah, further expanding the company’s footprint across resort and daily-fee operations. Kiāhuna Golf Club, a daily-fee facility in Poipu on the island of Kauai, will be managed by Troon Golf, the company’s resort and daily-fee division, overseeing operations, agronomy, retail and sales and marketing. Wohali Golf Club in Coalville, Utah, will be overseen by Troon Privé, Troon’s private club division.
Kiāhuna Golf Club is located near Kauai’s southern shore and features an 18-hole, 6,787-yard, par-70 course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. that winds through the tropical landscape, lava formations and Hawaiian archeological sites. The property also has an expansive practice area, clubhouse, golf shop and Paco’s Tacos Cantina.
“Kiāhuna embodies 18-holes of Aloha, which are enriched by cultural landmarks such as ancient heiau and historic plantation remnants,” said Melissa Dupuis, Troon’s director of operations in Hawaii. “We feel great gratitude and responsibility in beginning management of Kiāhuna . We are committed to improving the guest experience, investing in sustainability and strengthening our connection with the island community.”

Wohali Golf Club is located inside the Wohali master-planned mountain community 43 miles northeast of Salt Lake City and just north of Park City, Utah. The property has been in limbo for some time after Wohali Land Estates LLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 2025. The filing came after multiple lawsuits by creditors and contractors, including an alleged $85 million debt to foreign investors through a loan from the federal EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. The property was recently acquired by senior creditor EB5AN Wohali Utah Fund XV, LP, through a court-approved bid.
Sitting at 6,500 feet, the 18-hole Eagle course measures 7,566 yards from the back tees with a par of 72. The course will reopen in the summer of 2026 and will be featured in Troon’s 2026 Golf Discovery membership program.
“Our investors believed in this property from the beginning, and we are committed to seeing it reach its potential,” said Mike Schoenfeld of EB5AN Wohali Utah Fund XV, LP. “The Eagle Course is a world-class asset, and we look forward to opening it this summer and working closely with Coalville and the local community.”
