Entries are now being accepted for Golf Inc.’s annual Development of the Year competition.
Development of the Year recognizes the daily fee/resort courses and private clubs with the best new traditional and non-traditional golf courses (including short courses and golf entertainment) opened during the past year around the globe.
Categories: New Private, New Daily Fee/Resort, New Golf Entertainment Facility
Who is eligible: New golf courses that completed construction between January 1, 2025, and April 1, 2026 and were not previously entered.
Judging is blind and done by a panel of industry professionals. They judge based on four criteria:
- Vision
- Course aesthetics
- Environmental and economic sustainability
- Course routing and land usage
Fee: There is no entry fee.
Recognition: Judges will select a first, second and third place and up to two honorable mentions. Winners will be featured in the July/August 2026 issue of Golf Inc. magazine.
