Troon Golf has taken over two new management contracts, bringing its total to 268 properties. The world’s largest management company will manage The Reserve Club at Woodside, in Aiken, South Carolina and Bookcliff Country Club in Grand Junction, Colorado.
The Reserve Club at Woodside is a private country club within Woodside Plantation, a Southern Living Inspired Community located in the Carolina foothills. The Club has two golf courses — The Reserve and Hollow Creek. T
“The Reserve Club at Woodside is an exceptional private facility with an outstanding reputation and a highly active and engaged membership,” said Carl Bielstein, vice president, Troon.
In addition to golf, The Reserve Club offers its members and guests an array of recreational and social activities. Outdoor recreational amenities include six Har-Tru tennis courts; three Pickleball courts; croquet and bocce ball; resort pool and cabana; community parks and greenspace areas; state-of-the-art fitness facility; walking, hiking and biking trails and more. At the center of the club is the 9,000 square-foot clubhouse. The club is currently undergoing a 17,000 square-foot expansion project which is scheduled to open this summer.
Bookcliff Country Club opened in 1958 and is the only private club in Grand Junction. In addition to an 18-hole Dick Phelps-designed golf course, Bookcliff features a new clubhouse, five tennis courts including pickle ball, a heated swimming pool complex, spa and massage services and a fitness facility outfitted with top-of-the-line exercise equipment.
“Bookcliff is a terrific family club with outstanding facilities and member programming,” said Jim McLaughlin, senior vice president, Troon Privé Operations. “Our team will look to raise the service levels, identify ways to improve the food and beverage operations and ultimately begin the process of recruiting new members.”
Food and beverage options at Bookcliff include a casual bar, fine dining in the Bookcliff Restaurant and a pool-side grill.
