Renovation of the Year Contest kicks-off with call for entries.

Golf Inc. is accepting submissions for its annual Renovation of the Year contest.

This longstanding and popular competition seeks to recognize the best renovation projects of the past year from around the globe.

Submissions will be judged on how well the renovations improved the course, based on four primary criteria: routing, playability, maintainability and aesthetics. Entrants will be asked to describe how the renovation achieved its purpose through concrete results.

There will be two categories, one for Private and one for daily/fee Public courses. A winner, runner-up and three finalists will be selected in each category, assuming there are enough quality entrants. Winners will be featured in the Summer issue of Golf Inc. Magazine.

Projects completed anywhere in the world between Nov. 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2013 are eligible.

Please note that before and after pictures will be required as part of the entry.
