Pete Dye Course completed at Indiana resort

Remodeling construction is complete at the Pete Dye –designed golf course at the French Lick Springs Resort in French Lick, Indiana. The course opened on April 24.
 
The $500 million expansion also added 1,157 residential units, a 50-acre commercial village, medical and business offices, a marina, trails, a golf practice area, a clubhouse with a fitness area and pool, outdoor pools and tennis courts.
 
Work also included refurbishing historic hotels in the resort and a new casino, which was completed in December 2006.
 
A remodeling of the Donald Ross-designed Hill Golf Course was completed in 2006.
 
The resort is owned by real estate developer the Lauth Group and non-profit Orange County Holdings, which was formed by the Cook Group of Indianapolis.
