KemperSports adds racetrack to portfolio

KemperSports, which operates more than 100 golf courses across the nation, is adding a racetrack complex to its management portfolio. The Northbrook, Ill.-based company has signed a deal to manage hospitality services at Circuit of the Northwest near Seattle, which when completed will include a race-themed club with a variety of amenities.

The Circuit of the Northwest will have dining facilities, an exercise center, a spa, meditation facilities, an airstrip, a members lounge, a members-only speakeasy, meeting spaces and road course simulators.

Scheduled to open in 2021, it will also be home to a technology lab, private garages and a STEM education center focused on motorsports.

“The Circuit of the Northwest will be a game changer for racing enthusiasts across the Pacific Northwest, giving them a destination like no other in the country,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner.

KemperSports also has finalized another non-golf management deal. It will manage The Landing at Chandlers, a waterfront restaurant and event center in Rockwall, Texas. The facility is part of a residential community along Lake Ray Hubbard.
