Country Club of New Hampshire for sale

The Country Club of New Hampshire is for sale with a price tag of $9.5 million, according to brokerage firm Fairway Advisors. The sale price includes 872.3 acres of vacant land adjacent to the club.

The club’s semi-private 18-hole golf course sits at the base of Mount Kearsarge and ranges between 6,000 and 7,000 yards, which allows for play at all skill levels. It was designed by William F. Mitchell to include a diverse range of 18 holes that flow throughout a scenic forest landscape. The property includes a historic clubhouse, a multi-functional second building, practice facilities and a converted “Stay-and-Play” facility with numerous bedrooms and common bathrooms. Additionally, a 16-room motel built in 1975 complements the property.

“The sale of the Country Club of New Hampshire represents a unique chance to own a significant part of New Hampshire’s golfing heritage,” said Jeff Davis, managing director of Fairway Advisors. “With its acclaimed course, robust lodging, and practice amenities, this property stands out as a premier golf destination. The additional acreage offers immense potential for development, enhancing the value of this remarkable property.”

Davis added that the expansive land accompanying the sale represents a good investment opportunity, given the range of development possibilities.
