ValleyCrest adds two courses in Fla.

ValleyCrest Golf Maintenance has signed long-term maintenance agreements with Martin County Golf Course in Stuart, Fla.,and Palm Beach National Golf and Country Club in Lake Worth, Fla. 

ValleyCrest Golf Superintendent David Hassel will mange the maintenance operation of Martin County Golf Course, located in the heart of the Treasure coast. The public club features two 18-hole courses, a full-length driving range, a putting green and a chipping green.

“Our goal is to enhance playing conditions and make MCGC the place to play on the Treasure Coast,” said Terry McGuire, vice president and national director of operations at ValleyCrest Golf Maintenance, in a news release.

The Calabasas, Calif.-based landscape company will also oversee maintenance operations at Palm Beach National Golf and Country Club, which features a championship 18-hole course. It also has a 7,500-square-foot putting green, 3,000 square-foot pitching and chipping green, a practice bunker, practice green and a 10-acre driving range. The course was originally built in the early 1960s, but was redesigned by golf architect Joe Lee in the late 1970s.

ValleyCrest Golf Superintendent Joseph Halter will manage the maintenance of Palm Beach National Golf and Country Club.
