Troon expands portfolio with Las Colinas Golf Club in Queen Creek, Arizona

Troon has been selected to manage Las Colinas Golf Club in Queen Creek, Arizona, expanding its portfolio of managed clubs nationwide. The company will oversee operations, agronomy, retail and sales and marketing.

Located southeast of Phoenix, Las Colinas features an 18-hole course designed by Michael Asmundson, a clubhouse with the Social Birdie restaurant and an expansive practice facility with pickleball courts. The club, owned by AZ Golf Ventures, will join the Troon Access, Troon Rewards, Troon Advantage and Troon Golf Vacations programs.

“Our vision for Las Colinas has always been to create more than just a golf course; it’s about delivering a world-class hospitality experience for every guest,” said Chad Melin of AZ Golf Ventures.

Troon Executive Vice President Kris Strauss added that the partnership will raise the profile of Las Colinas and benefit its community.

“The new ownership of Las Colinas (as of 2022) is truly dedicated to making the facility a shining gem of the Queen Creek community and making it a destination for golf and social activities,” Strauss said. “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with AZ Golf Ventures and the passionate associates that make up the fabric of Las Colinas – supporting all in a way that will take the facility to new heights.”
