Billy Casper Golf has been selected to manage Heritage Shores Club in Bridgeville, Del., a public course ranked No. 10 on Golf Digest’s 2015-16 “Best in State” list.
“Heritage Shores is a magnificent gathering place,” Billy Casper Golf Chairman and CEO Peter Hill said in a news release. “Favored for its superb golf course conditions and magnificent clubhouse, we will inject new programming and events which will ‘wow’ guests.”
The Vienna, Va.-based golf management company will manage all facets of the upscale daily-fee facility. It will direct course and property maintenance, staffing, training, clubhouse activities, food and beverage, merchandising, marketing, public relations, special events and financial management.
The Arthur Hills-design is a classic links-style layout featuring an 18-hole, 7,005-yard, par-72 course. It has wide fairways, five sets of tees, strategic bunkering, water in play on nearly every hole and an accompanying 28,000-square-foot Nantucket-style clubhouse.
Heritage Shores Club has a banquet space with a capacity of 400 and an outdoor gazebo and patio with a capacity of 250. Its practice facility features a driving range, fairway bunkers and a putting green. Green fees for this season range from $25 to $79.

Billy Casper Golf is one of the largest owner-operators of golf courses, country clubs and resorts in the United States with more than 150 properties in 29 states. The company recently announced the launch of BGC Select, a new “à la carte” management program that allows operators to pick and choose individual BCG services without signing a full-service management contract.
