Billy Casper adds 10th Virginia course

Billy Casper Golf group will be operating its 10th course in Virginia when the new Westham Golf Club opens nine holes this month in Moseley, Va., near Richmond. Westham was designed by Nicklaus Design and Tom Clark and serves as the centerpiece of Magnolia Green — a mixed-used resort-style community planned for 3,550 homes and future commercial and retail uses.

Single-family homes in Phase I are being built and sold by HHHunt Homes and Ryan Homes. Virginia-based Billy Casper Golf, which supervised grow-in of the new course, will manage all aspects of Westham’s golf course operations and maintenance, staffing and training, food-and-beverage operations, merchandising, player programs, marketing and public relations, golf instruction and special events. Westham marks the 25th Mid-Atlantic property under management for Billy Casper, and the 115th overall in 26 states.
