Avid Sports Management, headed by James Cooper, has opened its first managed facility at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course in Fiji.
The course, which was originally planned to be a signature design by Fiji native and global golf star Vijay Singh, was reportedly built for approximately $30 million, well under the original budget in excess of $43 million.
Singh did not complete the design, removing his name from the project approximately a year ago.
The course, which features views of the Pacific Ocean and scenic Natadola Beach on 15 of its 18 holes, is adjoined by the 5-star Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa.
