Landscapes Management Company, a division of Landscapes Unlimited, will assume full management responsibilities at King’s Deer Golf Club in Monument, Colo. King’s Deer Golf Club, designed by Redstone Golf, is part of a residential development of more than 500 homes northeast of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Opened in 1999, the course starts at an elevation of more than 7,000 feet, the links-style design winds through the natural landscape in the Colorado foothills and is designed to be playable for golfers of all abilities.
In addition to the 6,711 yard, par 71 golf course, King’s Deer features a full-service clubhouse, which includes a golf shop, grill and an outdoor pavilion with a capacity of 160 people. The course’s practice facility includes an all-grass practice tee, chipping and putting green.
“We are very excited to be able to work with King’s Deer, its ownership and the members of the community,” Landscapes Management Company’s President Tom Everett said in a news release. “We look forward to bringing our expertise in customer service, programming and course conditions to elevate the customer experience.”
To date, the Landscapes’ portfolio has 39 facilities throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and abroad in in Canada and China.
“We were very pleased to partner a Nebraska based firm as that is where our family is located,” The club’s ownership representative Brian Schardt said. “We really liked the fact Landscapes Unlimited already has a presence in the greater Denver area and that they have a proven track record.”
Founded in 1976, Landscapes Unlimited has completion construction, renovation, and recreational development projects for more than 1,500 golf courses. Additionally, Landscapes Management Company has been involved in the development and management of more than 60 golf courses since 1988.
