Rick Coffey, Certified Membership Professional (CMP), has firmly established himself as a leading sales performer and thought leader in the private club industry. 

Over an impressive 8-year career in membership sales, Rick earned multiple national accolades, including National Salesperson of the Year in 2010 and the National Membership Challenge award in 2012. Under his leadership, he generated over 260 new memberships and drove more than $40 million in added revenue. He is also the author of the viral LinkedIn series “30 Membership Sales Tips,” which garnered over 250,000 views in 2019 and continues to be a popular topic in industry speaking engagements.  

Rick rapidly ascended the ranks of the Professional Club Marketing Association, becoming its youngest-ever National President at age 35—a testament to his influence and leadership in the field. 

In March 2019, he joined NBC Sports as National Sales Manager for the private club division. Based in Ponte Vedra, Florida, Rick was promoted in 2023 to Director of the division, where he leads a talented team of sales professionals and account managers. In addition to his corporate leadership, he continues to support clubs across the country through consulting and training, sharing his expertise to help others grow their membership success.
