Phillip Martin is a Senior Vice President of Operations at Troon, where he leads the company’s Midwest office based in Chicago, Illinois. A seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the club and hospitality industry, Phillip recently celebrated his 21st year with Troon. His career spans a wide range of property types, including daily fee, resort, hotel, and private club operations. Recognized for his transformational leadership style, Phillip is deeply engaged in strategic planning, enhancing the member experience, and cultivating high-performing management teams. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous operational accolades, including awards from both Evergreen Alliance Golf Limited and Troon. Notably, under his leadership, The Inn at Entrada was named one of TripAdvisor’s Top 25 Hotels in the United States in 2011. Phillip is a Class A member of the PGA of America. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and an MBA from Texas Christian University.
