    Mike Zisman founded Golf Genius Software in 2009 after a long career in information technology, and he is currently Executive Chairman of the company. Prior to founding Golf Genius, he was founder and CEO of Soft-Switch, Inc., CEO of Lotus Development Corp and a senior executive at IBM.  Soft-Switch, founded in 1979, was one of the very first companies to participate in the electronic mail industry. Mike is regarded as a pioneer in the field of electronic mail and received the first lifetime achievement award from the Electronic Messaging Association. 
    Zisman has served and continues to serve on a number of for-profit and non-profit boards.  He was co-chair of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center and was formerly board chair of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia.  He is currently a board member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center. Zisman is a former director or trustee of the University of Pennsylvania, Lehigh University, the Board of Overseers of the Penn School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the Philadelphia Orchestra, Main Line Health and Peter’s Place. He was also a director of numerous venture-backed technology companies.  
    Mike earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, a master’s in systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Decision Sciences from the Wharton School at Penn.  Prior to founding Soft-Switch, Mike was a member of the faculty at M.I.T’s. Sloan School and an Associate Member of the Laboratory for Computer Science. Zisman has been a long-time advocate of open systems, the Internet and privacy issues.  Soft-Switch was one of fifteen founding members of the Internet Society, which was founded in 1992.
