Jim Hinckley
Jim is one of the most experienced executives in the private club, resort and golf management industry, having been involved in the ownership and management of more than 500 golf courses. Jim’s golf career began as a 15-year-old bag boy for Club Corp, became a golf pro while in college, later moved to ClubCorp’s corporate office, and eventually became President of Club Corp.
After a 32-year career with ClubCorp, Jim left and founded Century Golf Partners. Century Golf acquired the Arnold Palmer Golf Management brand and today has a portfolio of 65 courses including such notables as PGA West and Walt Disney World Golf.
Jim serves on numerous industry boards, including the National Golf Course Owners Association of America; American Junior Golf Association; American Golf Industry Coalition and he is a past member of the PGA. Jim is a National Trustee for the First Tee and is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Additionally, he serves on the boards at the Baylor Scott and White Hospital Foundation and the Children’s Center for Self Esteem.
