Hirsh authored the Appraisal Institute’s award winning text on golf property valuation (Golf Property Analysis and Valuation – A Modern Approach). A second edition was published in 2023. Prior to founding Golf Genius, he was founder and CEO of Soft-Switch, Inc., CEO of Lotus Development Corp and a senior executive at IBM. Soft-Switch, founded in 1979, was one of the very first companies to participate in the electronic mail industry. Mike is regarded as a pioneer in the field of electronic mail and received the first lifetime achievement award from the Electronic Messaging Association. Zisman has served and continues to serve on a number of for-profit and non-profit boards.
