Affiniti Golf Partners has been hired by new development manager Linger Longer Communities to operate two former Ginn Resorts-branded golf course properties in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
The two, RiverTowne Country Club and Patriots Point Links, are owned by the Lubert-Adler real estate equity firm, which hired Linger Longer after the bankruptcy-troubled Ginn Resorts entity was removed. Linger Longer, which also owns and operates the Reynolds Plantation communities, hired Affiniti, headed by principals Whitney Crouse and Steve Willy, in mid-May.
RiverTowne was designed by Arnold Palmer and hosted the 2008 Ginn Tribute LPGA Tour event. Patriots Point Links was designed by Willard Byrd. Alpharetta, Ga.-based Affiniti Golf Management also operates six other courses in both Georgia and South Carolina.
