A new championship 18-hole course alongside the new InterContinental Resort will open this summer on Fiji’s Coral Coast.
The course, which has yet to be officially named, is built according to concepts drawn up by Vijay Singh, although Singh disassociated himself from the project two years ago after a disagreement with the developers.
The course, one of only five 18-hole courses on Fiji, will accompany the 271-unit, five-star InterContinental Resort property. The course is set for a June 1 opening, with the $A280 million resort scheduled for a soft opening in May.
In addition to the scenic par-72 course and its 15 holes of panoramic ocean views, which will be managed by the Australian firm Avid Sports, visitors can enjoy five different restaurants as well as activities including full spa services and access to a world-renowned collection of beaches.
