A
new 18-hole golf course will be built on hills overlooking the
ancient Pyramids near Giza.
The
architectural firm of Thomson Perrett & Lobb is designing the
course that will offer scenic views of the Pyramids.
The
project – called New Giza, Egypt — will include residential areas,
a resort, university, school and hospital.
Construction
of the course, which will descend into the site of a former quarry,
is expected to start early next year.
