Sierra Golf adds Lone Tree as maintenance contract

Sierra Golf Management is making a name for itself in Central California. The golf course management company recently added its fifth maintenance contract with Lone Tree Golf & Event Center in Antioch, Calif. It manages an additional 15 courses. 

“We are excited to add to our growing golf course maintenance division,” said Jeff Christensen, President of Sierra Golf Management. “Lone Tree converted their greens to Champion Bermuda last year and reached out to us because of our expertise with the grow in and cultivation of Champion Bermuda Greens at Belmont Country Club in Fresno.” 

Jeff Christensen, PGA golf professional, founded Sierra Golf Management in 1994. 

“Our regional strength in this aspect of our business comes from knowledge of growing patterns, climate, equipment assets, human resources and vast experience in golf operations throughout the region,” Christensen said.
