Jack Nicklaus and Annika Sorenstam will headline the 2016 HSBC Golf Business Forum in late November, and The National Golf Foundation will present the findings of a specially commissioned research project, demonstrating the game’s extensive reach and offering a fresh perspective on global golf development. The Forum will take place at the Marriott Sawgrass Resort, from November 28th to Dec. 1.
Sorenstam, the all-time leading LPGA Tour money winner, will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Since retiring from the game in 2008, she has been involved in various business projects, including course designs, a clothing line, as well as the creation of the ANNIKA Foundation, which hosts a global roster of tournaments for girls including the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, ANNIKA Invitational USA, ANNIKA Invitational Europe, ANNIKA Invitational Latin America and ANNIKA Invitational at Mission Hills in China.
Nicklaus previously received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
“I am delighted to welcome the HSBC Golf Business Forum to Florida and, along with everyone at Nicklaus Design, I am looking forward to attending the Forum,” Nicklaus said.
The NGF will showcase to the HSBC Golf Business Forum audience compelling golf-related case studies as well as shining a light on different projects around the world and examining their unique stories and diverse goals.
The PGA Tour’s Tim Finchem and LPGA’s Mike Whan are committed to take part in what will be the events first time in the U.S.
