Golf Inc., Players 1st team up to identify top courses as rated by golfers

Golf Inc. and Players 1st are joining forces to present the “Players Choice” awards this summer, recognizing the courses that are providing golfers the top playing experience. And golfers themselves will be doing the judging, using the Players 1st innovative customer feedback system.

Beginning June 15, Players 1st will begin gathering players’ feedback after each round at participating courses. The tabulation will run through Aug. 31, with the winner in both public course and private club categories to be announced at the Golf Inc. Strategies Summit Sept. 23-25.

Players 1st is making its service available to nonsubscribers at no charge for the duration of the competition, allowing any club to be eligible for recognition.

Peter Smith, senior vice president and general manager of Players 1st, said that his firm is excited about this new venture with Golf Inc.
