    Steve Skinner serves as the CEO of KemperSports, a leading golf, sports, and hospitality company that delivers unparalleled experiences. Headquartered in Chicago, KemperSports manages more than 210 golf courses, private clubs, sports venues, and destination resorts nationwide. It works with more golf properties named among the top 100 U.S. public and resort courses than any other management company, including Bandon Dunes, Chambers Bay and Streamsong. Its events division manages nationally televised events including the Southwest Maui Invitational, the McDonald’s All American High School games, and has hosted and managed numerous golf championships, including the U.S. Open, U.S. Amateur and Presidents Cup.
    Skinner was a founder of The First Tee of Chicago and served as a National Trustee of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. He serves as a director of the Western Golf Association, and the Executive Committee of the Chicago Sports Commission. In 2025, he was elected to the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the game. Before joining KemperSports, Skinner practiced law at Mayer Brown and served in the public sector after earning a law degree from the University of Chicago and a B.A. with Honors from Lawrence University.
