John M. Brown, CEO of GreatLIFE Golf, has dedicated his career to the golf industry, building on a strong foundation established by his father, a Master PGA Professional. A collegiate golfer at West Chester University, John earned a degree in Finance before launching his professional journey. 
John began his career in banking with Wells Fargo, gaining valuable financial expertise before transitioning to the golf industry. In 2007, he joined Troon Golf, where he excelled as a Membership and Sales Director. In January 2011, John co-founded Brown Golf with his father, rapidly growing the company into a portfolio of 26 facilities. 
In July 2017, John was appointed CEO of Brown Golf, leading the organization through a transformative merger with GreatLIFE Golf & Fitness in September 2022. Under John’s leadership, the company rebranded as GreatLIFE Golf, becoming a national leader with 53 golf courses across ten states. 
A forward-thinking innovator, John spearheaded the development and launch of GolfBack, a proprietary golf technology platform that optimizes revenue and enhances customer engagement for golf course operators. Today, John continues to drive growth and innovation as CEO of GreatLIFE Golf.
