    Jim founded Pellucid Corp., a leading golf industry information and insights provider in 2001.  His background includes a decade of Fortune 50 marketing and sales management experience in Consumer Goods and 25+ years in data, reporting, analytics and insights across multiple industries. 
    Pellucid began in response to the golf industry’s need for accurate, unbiased information to support better business decisions for industry stakeholders ranging from owner/operators to major corporations. Since inception, Pellucid has pioneered nearly every industry information advancement from web-delivered local market analysis to quantifying monthly Golf Playable Hours (weather-adjusted performance) to Customer Franchise Analysis in conjunction with Edgehill Golf Advisors.  Pellucid recently launched and supports the Golf Market Research Center which provides facility performance tracking on Rounds, Revenue, Utilization, RevpAR and Discount Rate for a portfolio of participating facilities nationwide. 
    Jim has a BA in English from The Citadel followed by service as a Marine Corps officer and enjoys outdoor exercise, activities (only average golfer) and playing piano in his (limited) spare time.
