Andy Peterson
Andrew Peterson is the President and CEO of the Alamo City Golf Trail in San Antonio, Texas, where he oversees the management of eight municipal golf courses owned by the city. Under his leadership, the ACGT is expected to generate over $25 million in revenue and host more than 440,000 rounds of golf in 2025. The ACGT operates as a 501(c)(3) organization, allowing it to reinvest over $35 million in capital improvements since its founding in 2007. A native of Duluth, Minnesota, Peterson earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Rio Grande Valley and has been a PGA Member since 2001. He serves on the Board of Directors for both the Texas Golf Hall of Fame and the Southern Texas PGA. He has received awards, including the 2021 Southern Texas PGA Western Chapter Golf Professional of the Year and the 2024 STPGA Bill Strausbaugh Award. ACGT’s portfolio includes the historic Brackenridge Park Golf Course, Texas’s first public golf course and the original home of the Texas Open, where past winners include legendary golfers such as Walter Hagen, Byron Nelson, and Ben Hogan.
